Georgia Innkeepers Association

About Us

Georgia Innkeepers Association was formed in 2003 as a non-profit association of independent innkeepers in Georgia. Membership is open to any independent lodging property in Georgia that has 3 or more guest rooms and is properly licensed and approved.

Our Purpose

To promote and support business growth and development of member Bed & Breakfast Inns through effective marketing, networking education and political advocacy.

Our Goals Are:

  • To create an internet database of qualified independent lodging properties in Georgia.
  • To unite as a group to advocate use of the Hotel and Motel Tax funds for their designated purpose and to help support efforts to increase funding for tourism marketing at the state level. In this effort we have formed a strategic partnership with the Tourism Development Alliance of Georgia (TDAG).
  • To increase our membership by 100%.
  • To develop education programs for newly established inns and aspiring innkeepers.
  • To hold annual conferences with educational components for our members.
  • To develop group purchasing/discount options.
